🌿 Week 4: Jesus is our Living Hope

As Easter draws closer, I’ve been thinking a lot about the living hope we have in Jesus.

It’s easy to think of salvation as something that only matters for eternity. And yes, because of Jesus, we will one day be with Him forever. But the beautiful truth is that His work in our lives begins now.

Jesus came not only to forgive our sins, but to transform our hearts.

Sometimes we think about sin only in the “big” categories. But often the things that reveal our hearts are much smaller — impatience, sharp words, complaining, or the tone we use when we’re tired. These are the quiet places where God continues His work of sanctification.

The good news is that we are not left to fight this battle alone.

Scripture tells us that we are being transformed as we behold the glory of the Lord. As we open our Bibles and spend time with Jesus, the Holy Spirit slowly shapes our hearts to look more like His.

That’s why hiding God’s Word in our hearts matters so much. The more we look to Jesus through Scripture, the more our hearts begin to change.

And that is where our living hope grows.

As Resurrection Sunday approaches, I want to encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus. Reflect on the cross. Reflect on the empty tomb. Allow Him to continue His beautiful work in your heart day by day.
