Journey to the Cross as We Hope in Jesus

Hi Sweet Reader,

I don't know why I've been so exhausted this week, maybe the time change? When I'm tired, it's easier to grow weary.

If you can relate, watch my latest video.

🌿 Week 2: Hope in Jesus

Are you preparing for Resurrection Sunday? It’s coming quickly, and more than anything, I want my heart to be ready.

Lately, the news has felt especially heavy. Everywhere you turn, there seems to be another troubling headline or story that leaves your heart unsettled. It can feel discouraging when you see so much confusion and brokenness in the world around us.

But honestly, that’s exactly why Resurrection Sunday means even more to me this year.

Jesus didn’t come into a perfect world. He came into a world filled with sin, suffering, and deep darkness—just like the one we see today. And yet His life, His death on the cross, and His resurrection brought something the world could never give on its own: real hope.

Because of Jesus, we don’t have to live weighed down by fear or discouragement. He came to save us from our sin and from the grip of this broken world. Through Him we receive forgiveness, new life, and a peace that steadies our hearts even when everything around us feels uncertain.

As Resurrection Sunday approaches, let’s turn our attention away from the noise of the world and back toward the One who conquered sin and death.

  • He is our hope.
  • He is our peace.
  • And He is alive.

When we fix our eyes on Jesus, our hearts begin to rest again.
