A Winter Invitation to Journal God’s Word

Hey Reader,

How have you been doing this past week? Have you survived the extra-cold temperatures and winter storms?

Over here, it “warmed up” to a sunny 19°F, and the sunlight is glistening on the snow.

It’s one of those winter days that feels quiet and beautiful—perfect for slowing down.

I’m so excited to tell you about my newest Bible Reading Plan and Journaling Workbook. As I type this, it’s printing, and I’ll be sharing it on YouTube very soon!

Over the next few weeks, I’ll be using the How to Study the Bible – Bible Reading Plan for my journaling art and devotionals in Jesus Journaling.

I’ll also be sharing on Substack if you’re part of that community.

One of the reasons I’m especially excited about this month is that this Bible Reading Plan digs deeper into how to study the Bible.

So often, I naturally gravitate toward passages that lift my heart emotionally—and I still love those.

But I’ve found that learning how to study Scripture strengthens me in deeper ways, especially emotionally and spiritually.

This study feels foundational for where I am right now, and I would love for you to join me.

The How to Bible Journal – Journaling Workbook is particularly close to my heart.

It goes beyond inspiration and actually teaches how to Bible journal.

There are so many beautiful images on social media, but they often miss the point.

They don’t teach you how to journal.

Over the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing short teaching videos in Jesus Journaling and longer, more in-depth videos on YouTube, demonstrating simple, approachable ways to Bible journal.

My goal isn’t perfection or “pretty pages”—it’s to help you get started with ideas that are easy, meaningful, and grace-filled.

Here’s how to join in:

First, download the How to Study the Bible – Bible Reading Plan and follow along with me inside Jesus Journaling or on Substack.

Second, consider upgrading to the How to Bible Journal – Journaling Workbook. It’s filled with practical tips and teaching pages that will walk you through the study step by step.

You’ll want a journaling Bible or a notebook for your verse illustration.

Many women like to print the workbook pages on one side, leaving the opposite page blank for journaling art.

I truly hope you’ll join me this month.

I think we’re going to have so much fun learning and growing together—one verse, one page, one quiet moment at a time.

With love and grace,
Judith
