🌸You Can Be Enough—But Not on Your Own

Hey Sweet Reader,

Have you ever heard someone say, “You’re enough, just as you are”?

It’s a message that’s everywhere right now. And I get it—it sounds comforting. It tells us that even when life is messy, even when we feel like we’re doing everything backwards and wrong, we’re still enough.

But if I’m being honest?

I don’t quite believe that.

Not in myself, anyway.

Here’s what I do believe:
You are enough in Christ Jesus—when you allow God to live in and through you.

That’s the key. That’s the difference.

There’s a powerful verse from 1 Peter 5:10–11 that says:

“But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you.
To Him be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.”

Sweet sister, this is what God wants to do in you:

  • Perfect you – not to make you flawless, but to make you whole in Him.
  • Establish you – to root you firmly in His love.
  • Strengthen you – to give you grace and stamina for the trials you face.
  • Settle you – to quiet your heart when you feel overwhelmed or flustered.

That’s how we become “enough.”

Not because we’re doing everything right.
Not because we’ve got it all together.
But because Jesus is living in us, working through us, and shaping us to be more like Him.

Others might see the calm, the strength, the peace—and think you’ve got it all figured out.
But you’ll know the truth: it’s Christ in you, the hope of glory.

So tell them. Share your story. Let your life point to the One who is perfecting, establishing, strengthening, and settling your soul.

And then say with confidence:
“To God be the glory and the dominion forever and ever. Amen.” (1 Peter 5:11)

Hey Sweet Reader, When you’re worn out, there’s a better source of energy than caffeine—let’s talk about it. Some days feel like a marathon before I even have my first cup of tea. You know those little tasks that never get written down, but somehow eat up half your day? Yes… those. When my energy runs low, I’m quick to reach for my supplements, a steaming mug...
