What Do You Do When You Don't Know What to Do?

Hey Sweet Reader,

Have you ever faced a situation where you simply didn't know what to do next?

Maybe you're making a difficult decision. Perhaps you're walking through a trial you never expected. Or maybe you're trying to discern God's direction for this season of your life.

If so, you're not alone.

One of the greatest comforts I find in Scripture is the promise found in James 1:5:

"If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him."

Living led by Jesus is not always easy. We do not know what tomorrow holds, and there are times when trials, temptations, and difficult circumstances leave us wondering which way to turn.

The good news is that God never asks us to figure everything out on our own.

Instead, He invites us to come to Him and ask for wisdom.

I love that James doesn't say God gives wisdom reluctantly. He gives it generously. He delights in guiding His children.

James also reminds us that trials have a purpose. While we may not enjoy them, God uses them to grow our faith. As we trust Him through difficulties, patience develops in our hearts and maturity begins to take root.

Sometimes we want God to remove the trial immediately, but often He chooses to use the trial to shape us into the women He created us to be.

As we continue our Living Led journey, let's remember that God's wisdom is always available to those who seek Him. When confusion comes, ask Him. When decisions feel overwhelming, ask Him. When the path ahead seems unclear, ask Him.

He knows the way forward even when we cannot see it.

Today's Truth

• Count trials as joy, for they produce patience.
• Patience helps us mature spiritually.
• Ask God for wisdom in faith.
• Endure temptation and receive God's blessing.

Reflection

What situation in your life right now requires God's wisdom?

Take a few quiet moments today to bring that need before the Lord. Ask Him for guidance, trust Him with the outcome, and follow the next step He places before you.

Praying for you as you learn to live led by Him,
