Grace for Your Messy Life!

Hello Sweet Reader,

I hope you’ll be encouraged today.

Maybe your life feels messy right now. Or maybe the mess is behind you — a moment or even years of mistakes that still whisper regret when you look back.

You wonder if God can truly forgive you… even though deep down you know He already has.

This is for you if you know full well you were wrong. If you’ve hurt people. If you’ve made choices you wish you could undo. If you carry relational regrets from a boyfriend, a husband, a friendship, or even your own children.

If you’re like me, there are things in your past that still make you wince. Sins committed. Words spoken. Decisions made too quickly or too selfishly.

And sometimes the hardest question isn’t “Will God forgive me?”

It’s “Can I really have a deep, close relationship with Jesus after all I’ve done?”

Let me gently remind you today: yes.

  • God loves when you long for restoration.
  • He loves when you want to be done with the struggle.
  • He delights in drawing near to a humble, repentant heart.

You are not disqualified.

  • He is not surprised by your past.
  • He is not holding your history over your head.
  • He is not tired of forgiving you.

God wants to do something deep in you — something rooted and strong and grounded in Scripture. He wants you to be Christ-exalting, Bible-saturated, steady, and secure in His love.

Start your resurrection journey today (read the blog post). What better time to prepare your heart? There are 42 days until Easter — 42 days to intentionally walk with Jesus from the cross to the empty tomb.

Jesus didn’t rise, so you could keep rehearsing your shame.
He rose to defeat it.

He came to conquer every past failure and bring you into the land of the living — into freedom, restoration, and newness of life.

I would love for you to join me in the Resurrection Bible Reading Plan. Let’s ground ourselves in truth together. Let’s walk slowly through the story of redemption and allow it to wash over every regret.

Journey to the Cross - Week 1: Abide in Him

Hey Reader, Are you as excited for Resurrection Sunday as I am? There’s something so beautiful about intentionally preparing our hearts instead of just arriving at Easter morning. I don’t want to rush to the celebration without first walking slowly with Jesus toward the cross. That’s why I’m using the Resurrection Bible Reading Plan (password: gracefilled) this season. If you’d like to see the journaling devotionals I’m sharing, you can follow along over in Jesus Journaling. I thought it...

Get Your Weariness to Strength Bible Reading Plan

Hey sweet friend, Although I moved from Pennsylvania, I’m pretty sure the groundhog followed us to the Wisconsin Northwoods. After a deep freeze that seemed to last forever, the thaw has finally begun. The snow is melting (more is coming), and I didn’t realize how tightly I’d been bracing myself against the cold until I felt it begin to lift. Winter has a way of doing that to us, doesn’t it? When the days are long and gray, when you’re inside more than you’d like to be, when routines feel...

3 Truths God Taught Me Through Psalm 25 as a Struggling Mom

Hello Reader, Have you ever found yourself in a season of motherhood where the weight felt heavy—where discouragement crept in, and no matter how hard you tried, it seemed impossible to keep everything balanced? Psalm 25 has been one of those deeply personal passages of Scripture that God has used to steady my heart during those exhausting seasons of raising children, homeschooling, managing a home, and trying to live out everything I believed a “good mom” should be. Recently, while caring...
