Already Behind in Your Bible Reading? Me Too!

Hi ladies,

Can you believe the first week of 2026 is already behind us? It always amazes me how quickly time moves—blink, and we’re talking about Christmas again.

Maybe your decorations are already packed away (mine came down the Saturday after New Year’s), or maybe they’re still quietly twinkling in the corner. Either way, the turn of the year has a way of stirring things in our hearts.

For some, the new year arrives gently. For others, it carries grief, change, or the ache of what’s been lost. The Israelites knew that feeling well in the wilderness—longing for what was familiar when the present felt hard. Yet God continually called them forward, reminding them that He was still at work, still leading, still providing.

That reminder has been close to my heart this week.

I’ve been spending time with Jesus in my new Journaling the Word NKJV Bible and attempting to read through the Bible this year. I’ll be honest—it’s already messy. I’m a few days behind, and I may not check every box by December 31. But I’m not giving up.

Because this isn’t a sprint. It’s not about perfect plans or flawless follow-through. It’s about showing up. Sitting with Jesus. Opening His Word. Letting Him reset our hearts one day at a time.

That’s the heart behind Reset & Renew: 30 Days for a Holy Reset. It’s an invitation to slow down, release the pressure, and begin again—gently, faithfully, and with grace.

I’d love for you to join me this month. You can watch the short video where I share more, and you can download the Reset & Renew Printable Pack—totally free—to follow along.

Let’s move forward together, not striving for perfection, but choosing presence with Jesus.

With grace,
Judith

Hi Sweet Reader, I hope this finds you growing closer to Jesus as January unfolds. It’s hard to believe we’re already halfway through the month—these days seem to move faster than we expect. This new year has started in full swing for me. Life is beautifully full between ministry work, time with the grandkids, baking bread for hungry people (you know how that goes 😉), and trying—trying—to keep the house from spinning into complete chaos. In the middle of all that, I came across a statement...

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, sweet Reader, I’ll be stepping fully offline from December 21–31 to rest, be present with my family, and prepare my heart for the new year. During this time, I won’t be sharing devotionals, interacting in Jesus Journaling, sending emails, or responding to messages. Thank you for your grace and understanding. I’m so grateful for you and look forward to reconnecting in January. “Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10 I hope your Christmas is filled with peace and joy,...
